Static QR Codes
A Static QR code encodes the data directly into the pattern. Once created, it cannot be changed. This is perfect for WiFi passwords, vCards, or permanent texts.
Dynamic QR Codes
Dynamic codes point to a short URL which then redirects to the final destination. This allows you to edit the target URL later without reprinting the code. They also allow for tracking scan statistics.
Which is Better for You?
If you are printing a flyer for a one-time event, Static is fine. If you are printing menus or business cards that might change, Dynamic is essential.
